We’re excited to announce that you can now tag people in posts and comments on Hometalk!

Here are some tagging basics:

1. How to Tag. When typing a post description or a comment, type “@” before the name of the person you want to tag. As you type that person’s name, a drop-down menu of names appears. Click on the name in the menu of the person you want to tag.

2. You can tag more than one person in a post. If you’d like to tag multiple people in a post or comment, simply repeat the tagging process for each person you’d like to tag.

3. When you tag someone, that person will receive an email notification. This can be particularly useful if you’d like to show a friend a particular post, or if you’d like to get the attention of a particular pro to help answer a question.
